How it works

Three steps. Zero friction.

No screenshots to take. No context to explain. Just ask your question.

1

Cortiq sees your screen

It reads what's visible — code, docs, designs, spreadsheets, anything. Only when you ask.

2

Ask naturally

Type your question like you'd ask a colleague. Drop markers on specific elements for precision.

3

Get contextual answers

Answers are specific to what you're actually looking at. Not generic — precise.

Features

Everything you need. Nothing you don't.

Built to disappear into your workflow — powerful when you need it, invisible when you don't.

Sees what you see

Cortiq captures your active screen the moment you ask. No screenshots, no copy-pasting, no tab switching. The AI already has the context.

Drop a marker, get an answer

Drag lettered markers (A, B, C) onto anything on your screen. Cortiq knows exactly what you're pointing at. "What is THIS?" finally works.

Works on top of everything

One overlay for every app. VS Code, Figma, Excel, Chrome, Notion, DaVinci Resolve — Cortiq floats above them all and adapts to what you're using.

Your screen stays yours

On-demand capture only — never recording in the background. Screen data is processed and discarded, never stored. Exclude sensitive apps with one click.

Use cases

Built for how you actually work

Whether you write code, design interfaces, analyze data, or create content — Cortiq adapts to your context.

Stuck on a cryptic error?

Cortiq sees your terminal, IDE, or browser console and explains the fix instantly. No more copy-pasting stack traces into a chat window.

U

"What does this error mean?"

C

Gets a fix referencing your actual code

Privacy

Your screen stays yours

We built Cortiq with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought.

🎯

On-demand only

Screen is captured only when you explicitly ask. No background recording. Ever.

🗑️

Process and discard

Screen data is analyzed in real-time and immediately discarded. Nothing stored.

🚫

No training data

Your screen content is never used to train AI models. Not by us, not by anyone.

🔒

Exclude sensitive apps

One-click exclusion for password managers, banking apps, or anything private.

FAQ

Questions & answers

What exactly does Cortiq see on my screen?

Cortiq captures a snapshot of your active screen only when you ask a question or click analyze. It sends this to the AI for analysis and discards it immediately after responding. No persistent recording, no 24/7 monitoring, no cloud storage of screenshots.

How is this different from ChatGPT or Claude?

With regular chatbots, you have to describe what you're looking at, take screenshots manually, and copy-paste text. Cortiq already sees your screen — you just ask your question naturally. It's the difference between describing a photo to someone vs. showing it to them.

How do credits work?

You get 2,000 AI credits per billing cycle (per week on Weekly, per month on Monthly/Annual). Each question uses a small number of credits depending on complexity — simple questions use fewer, complex screen analyses use more. Most users find 2,000 credits covers their needs comfortably. Credits don't roll over, but you can top up anytime if you need more.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes — every plan includes a 3-day free trial. You'll need to add a payment method to start, but you won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime during the trial at no cost.

Is my screen data stored or used for training?

No. Screen captures are processed in real-time and immediately discarded. Your data is never stored on our servers and never used to train AI models. You can also exclude specific apps (like password managers or banking) from being captured.

What macOS version do I need?

macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. Works on both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs. Requires Screen Recording permission, which you grant on first launch.

Is there a Windows version?

Not yet — we're building for macOS first to get the experience right. Windows is next on the roadmap. You can sign up at cortiq.ai/windows to get notified the moment it launches.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, all plans are cancel-anytime. No contracts, no cancellation fees. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
